these boots are incredibly warm and comfortable. i work in antarctica during the winter and last year i had terrible boots that cracked and werent well insulated. these boots are warmer than the goverment issued survival boots, less bulky, have better traction on both oil, ice and dirt. since the toe is composite it makes the boots lighter and much less susceptible to getting frostnip on your toes. i love that the laces are already integrated as i hate lacing my boots daily.

Excellent, durable construction with good insulating quality. Due to the rugged materials and fabrication, these boots take some time to get used to wearing though the end result is well worth it. The composite toe protection just adds to the great protection offered. At times I need to move more slowly in the sub-zero temperatures of the commercial freezer environment. During these times my feet begin to get cold after about one hour. My hands get cold sooner than my feet, yet I do need to leave the freezer to warm up before continuing. I would definitely purchase these boots again!
