I have 2 pairs of identical ECCO Men's Turn GTX Boots. However, they were made in Indonesia and have 4 eyelets as opposed to 3 in the pair I just returned so you can readily tell the difference. The leather is of an inferior quality and the shoe does not feel as good on my foot. I am very disappointed as I had intended to keep buying these shoes for a long time; especially the black to wear into work when I have to wear to suit for court.Unfortunately, saving a few dollars by using a cheaper leather is more important than maintaining a high quality brand name product.

I bought these after a disappointing experience with Timberland Mt. Washington's. I was looking for something waterproof and could be worn in a business casual environment. As with all Ecco footwear, ( this is my 4th pair) they are comfortable out of the box. No break in required. They are a low profile, so they look great with jeans or other casual pants. They material is a nubuck that is slightly distressed. They scuff fairly easily, but I plan on using nubuck oil to alleviate the scuffing. Yes, Ecco's are expensive, but are worth it in my opinion.

I could swear to you that I was born wearing this pair of Ecco Men's Turn GTS Boot, but my mother would tell you otherwise. This boot is perfectly constructed, soft and pliable, easy to tie, comfortable to walk in, and looks great with jeans or Dockers or slacks. I take excellent care of my clothing and these boots will last me at least a couple of years. I'm now patiently waiting to purchase a brown pair as soon as they restock my size.
