The dual boa lacing system really lets you quickly get the dialed in comfort for all day riding. My only slight complaint was the backside really dug into my calf towards the end of the day and was a little painful. I'm only taking one star off for that because 1) I was with a friend just learning to board so I was on my toe edge basically all day pushing the back side into my calf and 2) the boots weren't really broken in yet.

I had a previous version of the DC Judge with the single boa and the air pump system around the ankle. It was agood boot but at time my foot would start to hurt and it sometimes felt like my foot was falling asleep.The new version with the dual boa is one of the best boots I have worn. One boa locks the ankle and calf into the boot and the other comes right over the top of your foot to make for a very comfortable feeling boot. I wore these for 5 days of boarding last week and they felt comfortable all week long.

I had boa on my prior pair but the problem is if I tighten so that my shin is tight, then my feet would be throbbing tight such that I can't even feel my feet after awhile. This is not a fun way to snowboard. With these boots, I leave my feet as loose as I feel comfortable, and tighten the shin. I am so comfortable that for 6 hours straight, I did not even have to loosen them. Before, I would have to loosen my boots everytime I get on the lift. Highly recommend this. By the way, the shin part is so much stiffer than my old boots, that even where my shin is not tight, I can still retain control when toeing because the shoe does not give in too much.
