I have to differ with the previous reviewer. These are Winter Boots...they aren't designed to be cushioned....although to me...they feel fine. Hey,if you want more cushioning buy a set of inserts. I was looking for an inexpensive waterproof boot that I could quickly slip on in the morning when I take my dog out. These are fine, especially for the money. BUT...WATCH OUT. These run small! I take a 9 1/2 shoe...and a 10 boot. I bought a size 11 and I could hardly get my foot in. I'm returning that pair and getting size 12. That the only reason that I didn't give the shoes 5 stars.Update: I just recieved the size 12's and had the opportunity to take them for a long walk on my 3 acre property. They were VERY comfortable. As far as the size, I should have mentioned that I have a wide foot...like a 9 1/2 E. Normally a 10 D would fit me. These only come in medium so I ordered size 11 which turned out to be too small. The 12's are actually too big, but that's what I wanted. I have to say that If I wore 2 pairs of socks (it's cold up here) these would fit perfectly. So the bottom line is...these are good comfortable shoes but they run small.

I am not normally a slip on guy, but I needed something that was easy on and easy off for running around in my yard. I am pleasantly surprised that the Dawson is perfect for this. They keep my feet dry and are pretty rugged for simple yard work. They also clean up real easy. Nice shoe.

A good pair of knock around winter shoes, and the price is right. Nothing fancy here, a little clunky, no great fashion statement, but very practical. They serve the purpose of everyday winter shoes for slush, snow, and salt.
