I have been satisfied with these Loredo work boots...the size I ordered fit correctly and they were comfortable on the first wearing.Initially, I was disappointed when they arrived, as the color of the boots were not the color I ordered....I inquired about it with the retail store who sold them to me via Amazon.com and was assured they'd exchange my boots for the color I wanted. But as I kept looking at the boots while talking on the phone to the sales person, I realized that the darker brown boots I had in front of me were actually the best choice for all around wearing, so I told the sales person to forget about the call, that I was going to keep the boots I had.I wear these boots working around horses and lots of dirt and manure...they're holding up well and are easy to clean off after the work day.For my complete comfort, these boots could have a bit more cushioning in the heal and foot-bed, although, I realize there's only so much room inside a boot for feet and cushioning.All and all, a good work boot with an authentic western look.

I received these today so I won't be able to comment on much more than the fit, material and appearance. They are classified as a work boot (as opposed to a dress boot) so hopefully they will last a while (I will just wear them casually to knock around in).The fit of these boots seems to be true to size. My perfect size would be a 12-3/4 D(med)... but since I can rarely find even a 12-1/2, I normally settle on a 13D, which is what I bought these in. I was wearing a normal pair of socks when I tried them on and the fit was very good. My feet felt secure without being pinched or squeezed and I had no issues slipping them on or off. I might be able to even wear a slightly heavier sock if I needed to during the winter. The rounded toe is comfortable... I try to stay away from the really pointed boots.Now, about the material and color... as another reviewer mentioned, these boots ARE NOT the color as shown in the picture. The color is so different that I even did some internet research to ensure that I received the correct boots. The pictured boot is a light wheat tan color... similar to a pair of classic Timberland work boots. These boots are definitely more of a medium brown... in fact on some websites it is called "dirty brown". I would say the color is more like coffee with just a very light splash of milk. If you are more interested in a true wheat colored boot I suggest these: Laredo Men's Jacksonville Boot Also, it should be noted that these are a nubuck leather finish, not smooth leather. The "dirty" look and the nubuck finish makes them look old and broken in even tho they are brand new. Don't get me wrong, they are still a very handsome pair of boots... I will probably end up keeping them even tho they aren't what I expected. The tread pattern on the sole is low enough that you don't even see it when standing... you would only observe it if you sat down with your leg crossed so that the sole was visible.Overall I am very pleased with these boots. I would have given them a full 5 stars just on their own merits but I gave them only 4 stars because the color isn't as pictured and and the finish isn't what I expected. I hope this helps...

i am extremely happy with these boots. bought from wharehouse deals at an excellent price. used, but in like new condition at a fraction of the original cost. very comfortable and exactly the right size. they came well packaged and were shipped very quickly. these are probally the best boots i have ever purchased. i would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. AAAAA
