This boot has everything a larger boot might, but packed into a "slightly-clunky shoe" size. It is always warm, even in below 10 degrees F. I have never had it leak, though I haven't tried walking through really wet slush. It grips very well, even on ice. As far as winter boots go, it's stylish and can look fine with your everyday clothes. Occasionally it chafes above the ankle after a lot of walking. And if you walk on laminated floors after walking through the wet outdoors, they will squeak a lot until dry.

I bought those for my husband. At first they seemed a bit uncomfortable at the ankles but after two days of wearing, they fit just perfectly. Boots are waterproof, though after 4 hours walking in heavy snow, they leaked a bit. You might even consider wearing warm socks in minus temperatures. I like the design most of all, they look even better in person and can be worn with jeans in the city.

I love these boots. They are very warm and very durable. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of casual boots for snow/ice.
