5Cushe Evo Desert Boot Review
By Tad Jennings
I've had the Cushe EVO Desert Boot for quite some time now and surprised nobodies written a review yet considering its massive popularity out there. Being a huge fan of the Cushe Surf Slipper Chuka in which is still my favorite shoe model out of the Cushe line, I just had to have the EVO Desert Boot when it first came out and had no patience to wait for any sale, HeheIt is however a much heavier duty type shoe format than the Surf Slipper Chuka but I knew this going in and it was pretty much what I expected. Nice wide front format in which Cushe is noted for in the majority of their models and a very comfortable foot formatted fit, no pinching of the ole toes and mid-section of the shoe, is well built and the outer soul grips well on most surfaces and makes a great outdoor shoe where the Surf Slipper Chuka is great around and in the home scheme for the maximum chukka comfort, the EVO Desert Boot still offers the convenient easy on, easy off for when the switch has to be made to battle the elements of the fall weather outside. I sort of in a way miss the rear pull tab on the Desert model in comparison but is nice not having your pant bottoms always hanging above the tab in any case however, HeheThe Desert boot also has the thick green insole that is in the majority of the Cushe model shoe-line and the mid-sole is quite a bit heavier considering its makeup and the weight falls in at 14.9 oz. in the Sze: 12 I presently have, still a nice light weight for this style boot, while say the Clarks desert boots weigh about 1 lb. 8 oz. and I personally prefer the lighter weight, that heavy weight gets to your legs after a while and like the lightness in weight that Cushe pushes forward in the majority of their line across the board, I'm a bit spoiled, HeheThe Cushe Desert Boot also has a really accented toe upswing in which springs one forward in the walking, hiking motion but a bit less comfortable for standing around, like I do at work and so forth, but if hiking is your thing you're seeking in this style boot, these have the extra magic there.Appearance wise they are average, I personally don't think they are going to turn many heads, but that's my personal opinion, others might feel different but I do get quite a few people eyeing them, probably trying to figure out what they are, Hehe - but all and all, not a knock-out on the ole fashion appeal scale but hey, they're a boot not a fashion show type shoe, Hehe - I have the black model and the accented red stitching is a bit more subdued in color appearance than most of the art shots I've seen out there, but that may be a plus for many, but I would have rather had the flash in color but still accented enough for style appeal I suppose.Overall being a Cushe and Keen fanatic, I have really learned to admire the Cushe Desert Boot more and more, it's rugged enough, fast to put on when needed, outstanding for walking motion, allot more than the majority of this style boot out there by others and plenty of room in the mid-foot and toe area that many of us seek anyways and while the Desert Boot model by Cushe falls a little short of a perfect score in my personal preference it still has the wide comfortable forefront that lacks in most of this style boot by other manufacturers that many of us seek, it still ranks up there at about 4 ¾ star and that being closer to 5 than 4, It is a bit different, a heck allot of fun and always ready to go when the outdoor challenge calls for whenever you are, ranks up the Cushe Desert boot a 5 star score!

5The Earth Shoe of the 21st Century!
By BikendHike
Growing up in the Seventies I loved my Earth Shoes. When I saw these they brought back memories. Now that I'm in my mid-forties I had try these. Man, I'm so glad I did, not only were they super comfortable as soon as I slipped them on, they just got more comfortable the longer I wore them. People of all ages come up to me and ask me if they feel as good as they look? I just smile and reply "What do you think?"
