Warm feet while outside in -15F temperature is the best test. The shoe feels almost like a sneaker and is small enough to still drive a car in it. I did not need the higher boot, and this smaller one is very comfortable, and can be worn as a hiking boot daily.

These boots are incredibly uncomfortable. I can't walk more than 30 minutes without having my ankle swollen.The design is not terrific neither. The sole is definitely too thin so the rating is way too optimistic. I would rate them at -20 celsius. Because of the design you cannot add an inner sole in it without additionnal discomfort.

Very comfortable and rugged boot. I can't wait for my first large snowfall. Best asset is that they are waterproof and as warm as can be.
