I have large, wide feet with many years of chronic low back pain, so finding a shoe is always a challenge. In this shoe, I believe I have found my ideal shoe. I really like the classy look of this shoe and more importantly it fits! Each day when I go to the closet and look at the 6 pair of shoes I own, I usually go for this one.

I have severe plantar fasciitis that requires shoes with great soles so that my orthotics will provide the right support. These do that and more. I also have arthritis in my ankles that has weakened them so the higher tops give that support. I put them on the first day and wore them for 8 hrs+ right from the start. I haven't been able to do that with a pair of shoes in years.

Took a new pair on vacation and wore them all day at a conference. I had to put tissue around the sides because they were hurting my ankles. Then on the second day the metal eyelets for the laces started to come apart. Upon close inspection, I noticed that they were made in China. Too bad, they're no good replacement for my Ecco boot that looks the same. I returned them!
