By C. Pedersen
Just bought these boots for my 12 yr old son. In examining the Chinese made boot, I found them to be constructed pretty well. No obvious defects. We tried a pair of these and a pair of the other comparable Chinese made Sorels. They run a bit smaller in size. Maybe a half size smaller. He said they felt better on than the Sorels.I will update this review at the end of this snow season and let you all know how they held up.I wore these boots alot during the season. They kept my feet warm and dry. Good traction. Insides held up nicely. Gonna use them again this winter.

By Seattle-area Consumer
About a week ago I originally bought a pair of size 9 Sorel Caribous (I wear a size 9 1/2 in virtually every shoe). I wore them around the house for a day and decided they were about 1/2 size too small for me, as my right big toe was up against the end of the boot. They were also rather stiff in the sole and quite heavy.I tried on a pair of these Northside boots, also a size 9, and found them to fit me better, were lighter and more flexible when walking. I wore them this past Saturday for a football game which included tailgating on wet grass for about 3 1/2 hours, then standing in a light rain during the game (temp in the mid-40s). My feet stayed warm and dry.I'm happy with my Northside boots and expect they will perform well when/if snow falls here in the northwest.

No more wet socks and chattering teeth. Just nice warm toasty toes. Nice cushion on the inside and comfortable too.
