First off, the shoes are great quality and keep you feet nice and toasty. I got them for dock work in 0-30 weather after wind chill and they're just fine. Second, the shoes have great traction and plenty of velcro adjustment.Unfortunately, the shoes run BIG. I wear a solid 11 from every manufacturer including a different pair of Khombu boots but these were more like and 11.5. Definitely upsetting when you walk and your heal lifts up in your shoe. Fortunately this is easily remedied in my case by wearing another thick pair of socks. But either way, loses a star for poor fitment.

I am very happy with these boots, halfway through a very snowy winter in Albany, NY. They are VERY comfortable and warm, having worn them outside down to about -15F. Very easy to slip in and out of. The tread also grips very well. I've shoveled and snoblown about a dozen times, and my feet have stayed warm and dry. Today I used them in 3 inches of slush, and they are still warm and dry. Were a little tight when new, but fit really well now, after wearing in.
