I had been looking at these boots for a while. I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase them. I absolutely love them! While the description says they are black they appear to be more of a gray color which is fine by me. I have purchased boots in the past and wasn't able to wear them for extended periods of time because they began hurting my feet. I wore these all day long the day after I received them and I can honestly say my feet didn't bother me. They have that "broken-in" feel and a good insole which makes them more comfortable. I am thinking about purchasing them in the tan color also. Best boot I have owned.

I am thrilled with these boots, I bought them for my husband and he loves them. They are even more gorgeous in person than in these photos. We bought the ones that are listed as "black", and even in the photos they look at bit more brown than they do in person.. they are more like a slate gray and they are made to look weathered (and the weathering is done well, these boots do not look cheap). They are very well made and my husband says they are very comfortable and fit well.

More of a grey and would rather they didn't have a zipper on the inside. Fairly comfortable and overall a good shoe.
