Used these boots for outdoor work in N. Dakota this winterwhere temps were down to -25 quite a lot (colder sometimes).Boots worked great. Not the best for prolonged walking probably,but for normal outdoor work they were awesome.

I work as a snowboard instructor and live & play outdoors. These boots are up to the task. They're reasonably warm and waterproof in about 2" of water. The sizes run small, and with a winter boot you want to oversize a bit anyway. I probably wouldn't recommend these as a work boot, but for moving around camp, after a day on slopes or just a winter's walk through the ski town, you'll be well served. My gripe is that they are made in India, but are still far superior to the Sorel's made in China. If you want a better product and don't mind spending twice as much, the Kamik Pearson's are made in Canada. I will be purchasing those next time!

I Live in Northern Europe where the winters are long and severe! These boots are wonderful, well insulated, comfortable and provide great traction. For the price they can't be beat!
