A sturdy rubber outsole gives the Pajar Basel winter boot dependable grip on a range of surfaces; the maple leaf-shaped lugs and Canadian flag label on the heel are a nice touch.

Comfortable and warm! I bought these along with the Banff 2 from Pajar. The leather on the Basel looks better to me and they are a couple of inches shorter. I think I prefer the look of the Basel. The quality and fit of both models is the same. I wear a 9.5 and the EU 43 was perfect. It fits like the average US 9.5.

My 26 y.o Brooklyn based son loved the boots I sent, for the style that came with the good engineering for a waterproof boot. But he has to go through the hassle of a return -- unfortunately the Amazon listed sizings were wrong. I ordered the US size 9.5-10 (shown as EU size 41), but when the boot arrived it was (yes) EU 41 but (NO!) US size 8.5-9 !!Grrr. Correct size is printed on the boot itself.Tried to do a return for the correct size, only to find that it is not available for exchange, only refund.Very annoying.

I ordered this size is the husband who is 7,5 US in all brands. the brand pajar stated that 7.5 = 40. When we received these shoes, they saw that they were a child, was able to wear them only I wear women's size 8.5. and yet, they are on a very narrow foot, keep in mind that within the fur. Overall, the quality is very good, the label indicates the manufacturer of temperature-20C zachit warm, quality soles suggests that it should not slip.
