I'm a manager at a factory and can be sitting all day at my desk to on my feet on the floor the entire next day. I've had Redwings (good), Wolverines (so-so), Timberland (good but not durable), and many others. I compare these boots to Redwings in terms of quality, comfort, and so far durability. Havent had them very long so can't say without a doubt that they are durable. They are more than 1/2 the price less than Redwings and seem just as good. I would recomend them whole hearted. True to size and very comfortable.

Waited a while to give a fair review.I've had these boots for about six months now and they are holding up very well.My job requires a lot of walking and the bottoms are hardly worn.They have been in gravel,oil,mud,extinguishing chemical agents and submersed in water numerous times and the leathers still top notch.Not even a ripped shoe lace.I bought these on sale when amazon had them for 38 bucks.Wish I bought a couple more pairs but never had Kodiak's before so I didn't know if they were any good.So far,very pleased with these boots.

These are perhaps the worst boots I have ever purchased. My husband used them for work, they didn't last one month. The ankle padding fell apart as well as the inside of the boot. I recommend do not buy them. If you wan't Redwing quality and durability these boots are not the answer.
