My original Sorels grew to be a little tight (actually I grew, the boot didn't shrink). Unfortunately, the recent reviews of Sorels left a lot to be desired. Looking for comparable replacements I discovered the Kamiks ... it was a great choice! Comfortable fit, great traction on snow and ice, warm as long as I am out (so far about four hours at a stretch with just wool socks). They're quality made and I believe they'll last me as long or longer than my Sorels, which were still in good enough shape after fifteen years to hand down to one of my sons.
