A very well made boot

This is a very well made boot. I have had Helly Hansen rain gear in the past and was always pleased with the quality, which is why I tried these boots when I was in need. They are made for narrow feet and since I have wide feet, I ended up sending back the size I normally wear (8) and ordering 9.5. I would suggest ordering two whole sizes larger if you like a looser fit as the 9.5s are still snug width-wise but are now better for length. I could have worn the 8s with only one pair of thin socks but like to wear one pair of thin plus one pair of thick socks when I am outside for a long time in our northern Michigan winters. I am impressed with the stitching and workmanship of these boots. They are also light for "heavy" winter boots and have kept my feet plenty warm so far!

Warm, Solid boot.

Great product from HH. The boot is very warm and solidly built. The upper is a thick and very supportive rubber material, while not at all appearing like rubber. The ankle and calf portion of the boot has great support and does not "slouch". Laces are very high quality and D-rings make lacing very simple and convenient. Recommended.

Great cold weather boot.

I use this boot icefishing. This is one of the best cold weather boots I have ever owned. I have been icefishing all my life and I know how importaint a good warm waterproof boot is. This boot really fits the bill. I fished on a cold day when the snow isulated the lake and left 4 - 5 inches of slush hiding under the 6 -7 inches of snow. I walked in slush all day. My feet stayed dry and warm. NICE! P.S. I did buy one size up for extra room to move my toes around. Worked out geat.

Excellent winter boot.

These are the best winter boots I've ever had. I've had mukluks and other pak boots, but nothing has compared to the warmth of these. They also led me to buy the Baffin "Logan" shoe for winter dress. They are absolutely wonderful too.

Dear Amazon readers,My feet have always been cold in the Maine winter; this discomfort has limited my time enjoying the great outdoors. I could only go out for a max of two hours in twenty-degree weather. I was researching for a new pair of winter boots and came across the Baffin Control max Snow Boot, I read the product description and I was sold. I shopped around trying to find the best price and once again I came back to Amazon for the lowest price and free shipping. I received the boots; Boy are they comfortable and warm, I worked outside for six hours in three degree weather and my feet remained not just warm but very warm.
