Just got these to replace my black Durango motorcycle riding boots which have lasted 5 years to their credit. The javalinas are water proof/resistant, the rubber sole is super nice in terms of grip, they have a steel toe, and they are comfortable. What more do you want in a motorcycle (cruiser style) boot? Oh, yeah, they are rated for electrical hazards.This is one very solid and good looking boot. The steel toe is a little wider in person than in the picture, plenty of room for my toes but also short enough for my foot to get under my bike's foot shift-lever - most steel toed boots I've owned are way too bulky for riding. The sizing is accurate and has room left for a thick sock. Like other boots, you may want to order a 1/2 size down if you expect a super tight fit with a thin sock.They are the best I could find at this price point and have more benefits (comfort, steel toe, electrical resistant, water resistant) than the other boots in their class.
