Biggest boot you got?

I bought these because I was looking for a high quality boot that was in my size. Normally I would use a size 15 snowboard boot, but I was having a hard time finding them. I thought 14 should be big enough since my regular shoe size is 13. These boots seem a little bit snug for me to be 14s. If they were just 1mm smaller I probably would have had to send them back. This boot has all the new boot features that are around. I love the three piece tongue section, you can place the center part on your shin just where you like it, then velcro the outsides onto the center for the perfect custom shin grip. The laces tighten up quickly and spread pressure evenly up the length of the boot. The laces are the perfect length for me to do a wrap around the back of the boot once i get to the top and tie neatly in front. There isn't much protection on the toe from snowboard resting on chairlifts. I haven't damaged mine yet, but I imagine it will happen eventually, my board is really sharp and there are stitches right where I rest the board. The bottom of the boot didn't impress me. The grip isn't very strong and it is made of only one type of rubber and is quite hard, and even harder one frozen. I slipped quite a few times walking up little hills and just on flat snow with these. More slips than I've had with all other boots I've owned combined. In conclusion, I have no complaints for how the boot feels, just beware that the sizing my be a little more snug than you are used to. The tread leaves much to be desired in grip and flexibility. The durability seems like it may be a factor for frequent board to toe resters like myself.

Perfect walking shoe for a cold climate.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear on a Christmas trip to Germany ( involving lots of walking). They kept his feet warm and dry in rain, sleet and snow and were worth every penny. They also fit true to size and were very comfortable for him to walk in.

Excellent, Comfortable Footwear

I've owned a pair of Magnum work shoes for over two years. I quit the job that required them, yet I still wore them as my everyday shoes because they were so comfortable. The foot/arch support is great and keeps me from experiencing heel pain better than any inserts I've tried with other shoes. I instantly notice the lack of support when I put on a different brand of shoes.Although, the Magnums I already have are still going strong after all this time, I've been wanting a pair of black shoes for a while now. When I got these in they met or exceeded all my expectations. I opened the box and even the packaging gave me the impression that I bought a really excellent pair of footwear. I put them on, and I experienced the same comfort and perfect fit as with the other pair. I chose this pair over the other Magnum options because I thought these looked the best, and they certainly look as good as they do in all the pictures.For work or just for everyday use, I definitely recommend getting these or any of Magnum's other options.

5 or 6 pair

I have worn this boot since 2005 or so. I wear them 5 or 6 days a week. 5 of those are 10 hours. they are lightweight and comfortable and look nice shined up. good arch support too. very little break-in needed. they last a long time so buy another pair of laces when you buy the boots. the laces will wear out before the boots will and the original laces are best. I always double tie my boots as they can come untied due to slippery laces. weird, but buy them anyway.

The best

This is my 9th pair of magnums over the last 8+ years. I work in EMS and in all kinds of weather. These boots are more comfortable than sneakers, waterproof, and very durable. Probably my favorite feature is they stop my feet from sweating in the very hot weather.

these boots rock... Thritytwo actually compares them to the Lashed, but I think they're better.. they are more comfortably and the duel boa rocks. The best system for loosing up in the park or freestyle and tightening down for big mountain.

I go thru the winters in NY- and I bet this boot can make it thru tougher winters easy! love the little gimmick they have at the bottom for walking on icy surfaces! light-water resistant-very warm and comfortable! look no further! plus its a great deal on here!

very satisfied

These came quickly . They are very comfortable and light weight. Now with my luck we wont get any significant snow or ice . I specifically got them for the grip feature built into the sole. When it gets wet we have a lot of black ice. The tag mentions something about a special key . I cannot find that key anywhere . i have emailed the manufacturer and hope they can provide it. I will update my review once I have tried them on the ice and if I get any info about that key.

Perfect for use as work boots!

Exactly what I needed

I drive a truck for a living and likewise I was in need of a pair sturdy, comfortable steel toed shoes. I have a size 13 foot and was worried about ordering boots on line. All of the other work boots ( at least 3 pairs in the last two years at an average of 40-60.00 a pair) I have purchased at the big box retailers have fallen apart: Leaking water from the soles, shoe lace grommets breaking off, the list goes on. I ordered these boots size 13m and awaited patiently for them to arrive. They arrived on time and to my great suprise and pleasure, these shoes fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable. They keep my feet protected from the elements. They look good and if I had not already gotten them dirty from working on job sites, I would wear them for every occassion. I may look into getting another pair, that are not steel toe, that I could wear around town. Needless to say, I love these boots and would highly recommend them for anyone who works in contruction or needs steel toes. I will save a couple hundred dollars in the next fews years by not having to keep buying disposable shoes from the big box retailers. You get what you pay for and I don't see why I will have to spend anymore money on work boots over the next few years (hopefully).

so poor quality

Don't waste your money. Only had them for 5 months and the soles of both boots come apart from the leather. Only wear them at work (work inside) and never got them wet so they shouldn't be coming apart.

Best footwear ever worn!

Comfortable, warm and recommended purchase for anyone! Most if not all boots ever worn by myself have fallen apart or shown signs of wear and tear after a few months. These shoes have been thru hunting trips, backpacking through Europe, hours of landscaping and other outdoor physical labor, miles upon miles of hiking, bike riding and even runs! The antimicrobial agent inside is incredible! The boot retains a reasonably decent smell to this day! The waterproofing is great and I can't rave enough about this product.I definitely plan on purchasing another pair when and if this pair ever fails on me. A++!!!

We bought these for my husband and only 2 weeks later they were falling apart at the shoe lace seams. he had a pair of the same for only 6 months before they did the same thing we were just hoping these ones would last but nope they did not ..
