I would have chosen different boots if the description had noted that these are over-the-shoe boots. At this price I expected regular, over-the-sock boots.

I searched all over for a pair of boots I could use becasue of my swollen legs. These are are the only ones that 1, fit; and 2, were sized where I could wear them over my shoes. They fit very well and can be carried in a plastic bag if needed. The most practical boots for snow and slush I've ever had.
