I purchased this boot at Gander Mountain on 9/10/2010. I wore this boot about 30 min./day when I checked the spillway of a pond on my property for beaver activity. After less than 2 months, the boots have cracks in the rubber(1-2 inches), large enough to let water inside. The cheap boots I bought at WalMart lasted longer than this.

Horrible product.I was a bit concerned over all the bad reviews on these boots but thought - can't be all that bad. After all, I didn't need them to last a lifetime, only 2 or 3 years. Also, I liked the style and the height - so I took a chance - wrong. The first time I wore these boots in ankle deer water, it was like not wearing any boots at all. Water gushed in from every seam in the boot - both feet. If I were Columbia, I would do a product recall on this item. Don't buy these boots, it's like flushing money down the toilet. Where is the quality assurance?This is the first negative write up I have ever written, but I feel if I can influence just one buyer, then it's worth it.

I also had these boots for only 2 months and shure enough at big toe flex point they cracked. I have always had great luck with Columbia products, but like a lot of companys they charge more money for poor quality (China)! I really am disapointed becuase they are a good fit but if they leak fit dosen't mean aything. Also beware the clothes are poor also compared to what they used to be.
